Hi and welcome to the Samantha Nowak blog hop I am your second stop on this wonderful hop. As always the hop starts at the QKD blog. I am sharing the chinese Princess image with you. You can find all of the stamps you find featured on the hop today at the Queen Kat store Now i am going to send you on down the road to my fellow design team member Vicki.
Over on the bells and whistles challenge blog this week theme is anything but winter. I choose to use cupcake cause she my favorite bells and whistles image and one of my favorite kind of cards to make is a happy card to share with someone on their birthday. I went with a grey and blue theme for this card.
I was recently able to get 3 of the new simply adorable digital images from sugar nellie. I really like how simple and sweet and easy they are to color and add to a card. On the sugar bowl we are following a sketch this week. My image is joy sitting and she avialable as a digital image from funky kits. I colored her up with copics and then paired her up with papers from the fine and dandy line from in my minds eye. I thought the flowers and crystals added a nice soft touch to go with this sweet little girl.
– Each week 3 Royal Court Members host a challenge on their blog. (the same challenge)
– You start at the QKD blog and visit the 3 challenge hosts on their personal blogs. (Leave us some love and a link to your project so we can return the favor. *wink*)
Over at stamp something this week anything goes. This little cutie is one of my favorites from the greeting farm tt-madelyn. I colored her up with copics and then paired her up with in my minds eye love nest. The sentiment is from paper make up stamps. Have a great friday and stamp something.
For this week etsy inspired the shop is la pomme and of course your to be inspired by something you see in the shop. I saw this stack of vintage music sheets and i was off and running.
My card features paper from echo park be mine collection and the butterfly and matching sentiment are from gina k designs. I used gold embossing powder for the butterfly and tim holtz distressing ink to make the paper less white and more old vintage looking. I hope your inspired to go be etsy inspired.
