MFT Color Challenge 104

These are the colors for this color challenge for My Favorite Things 104.

penguin color challenge

This is my card for the challenge.  I used the brand new sweet holiday penguins and colored with my prisma color pencils.  I used tim holtz distress inks to create the sky background and snow drift dienamics for the snow.  I think cut out the penguins with teh matching dies.   Added the happy christmas dienamics and a couple of snowflakes.  Finished the card with a sentiment from the set and some nuvo drops.

Mix It Up Challenge #48 – Fresh Inspiration

This is the challenge for Sugarpea designs you can use either the sketch or the colors in the picture or do both.  I choose to use the sketch and i used fangtastic for my card. Background is done with tim holtz alcohol inks, then heat embossed the moon from the stamp set, colored the bat with colored pencils and then added white nuvo drops and some bats.  Sentiment is from the set as well and is heat embossed in white.

Wednesday Sketch Challenge – Sketch 407

The sketch for this week MFT Sketch challenge 407

Here is my interpretation of this sketch

For my background i used MFT tiny stars background that i heat embossed with white embossing powder.  Then used tim holtz distress oxide ink to great the blended background.    I then used a combo of the super girl and i think it called stars sentiment set. Then i die cute a spellbinders star die for the big star behind my super girl.   Image is colored with prisma color pencils and some luminescence pencils.  The sentiment is heat embossed on vellum with copper embossing powder.  All is mounted on black on a white panel.

This is this week My Favorite things sketch 405 here is my interpretation of the sketch.  I did what a few of the design team members did and i flipped the sketch.  I used blueprints to create my angled piece.  Use yupo paper and a blend of distress inks and foil to create the background.  I then used the Happy Pawlidays set and some snowflakes to complete this simple holiday card.
