Sugar Pea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #50

MIU 50.jpg

This month challenge is anything goes or the color from the image or you can do both hence mixed it up.

I choose to go with the anything goes and pulled out this bookish themed stamp set.  I am a huge fan of big books so i had fun with this one.  I colored the image with copics and then used a notebook border punch, the design paper is from carta bella well traveled paper pad.  As a bookish person i traveled a lot of places at least in my imagination.

Simon Says: Let It Snow

46514024_195422248033542_2647313112771854336_n.jpgI am entering this in to the Simon says let it snow challenge.  Image is from Elisabeth bell, image is colored with copics.  Sentiment is from create with tlc.   Image cut out with mft dienamics as well as the sentiment.  I used my copic air brush for the dusting of pink on the sentiment and around the image.  I double stacked some snowflake dies from mft and finished off the card with some dew drops and some nuvo drops.

Wednesday Sketch Challenge – Sketch 411

This is the sketch for MFTWSC411

This is my interpretation of the sketch.  I enlarged the smaller panel and flipped the card on its side.  I kept the sentiment toward the top.   First i used a snowflake frame embossing folder on the bottom panel.   Then i used tim holtz alcohol ink cardstock and tim holtz alcohol inks in patina, wild plum and purple twilight to create the winter sky behind the penguins.  They are blended with the blending solution to get them to swirl together.  I then stamped the sweet holiday penguins and colored them in copic markers.  Sentiment is from There She goes stamp compnay.  I used the snowflake drift dienmaics in glitter cardstock.  Sentiment is heat embossed in gold embossing powder.   To finish off the card i added some shimmer nuvo drops.

MFT Color Challenge 105

These are the colors to use for this week My Favorite Things color challenge.

For this card these are the supplies and prisma colors i used to assemble the card.  I started out with a kraft card base at 4.25 x 5.5.  I then cut mats of brown and red and then used the Christmas tree print with the challenge colors from Bo Bunny silver and gold paper pad.  My image is Pure Innocence Nice List and cut out with the matching die.  I stamped her in black staz on and colored her with the following prisma color pencils.

Skin – White, Eggshell, Light Peach, Peach and Burnt Ochre

Dress- Pale Sage, Spring Green, Sap Green Light, Kelly Green, and Prussian Green.

I added some holiday shaped eyelets in Christmas trees and a candy cane on the sentiment strip that was stamped in versa mark and then heated with white embossing powder.
